Congratulations to Mr. Frank Zhang, an overseas Chinese in South African, for receiving the "Outstanding Contribution Award" 

from the Shenzhen Cross-Border E-commerce Association at the 6th Global Cross-Border E-commerce Festival 616 in 2023. 

Looking back at Feb. 2020, the sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic posed a severe threat to the entire nation. Medical and protective supplies were in urgent need in many places. 

In order to maintain the operation of various public service in Shenzhen, the city government organized enterprises to search 

for overseas mask resources. FSATECH willingly responded to the call and actively sought opportunities. 

Finally, we found a large batch of masks was available in Durban, South Africa, but its authenticity could not be confirmed. 

In addition, the local security situation was tense, and masks were scarce resources. In this urgent moment, FSATECH got 

in touch with patriotic South African Chinese individuals, including Ryan and Frank, who were in Johannesburg at that time. 

Upon receiving the news, they immediately formed a convoy and drove non-stop for six hours to Durban to inspect the goods and stayed up all night during the transaction and payment period, waiting 

for the goods. After the seller received the payment and released the goods, they assisted in transporting all three million 

masks to Durban Airport. At the airport, they coordinated aircraft , unloading, and loading the goods onto the plane, with 

these kind -hearted people helping all the way. Recalling these events now may seem casually mentioned, but the difficulties 

at that time far exceeded our imaginations. Many moments were heart-stoppingly intense. Fortunately, the masks were successfully brought back to Shenzhen and used on the frontlines of epidemic 

prevention.

Not seeking fame or fortune, not counting the rewards, they stood up for the needs of the motherland. This is the spirit of 

the descendants of Chienes, a national sentiment that is always worthy of admiration!
